Welcome Reception, 27.06.2022
The Welcome Reception takes place at the Salzburg Congress Center on the evening before the official start of AirMed 2022. During this event attendees have the chance to meet speakers, sponsors or the organization team in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet colleagues, discuss vital topics together and get a first glimpse of AirMed 2022.
Snacks and drinks will be served at the Welcome Reception.

Special evening at Hangar-7, 28.06.2022
Hangar-7 was originally intended to house a collection of historical Flying Bulls aircrafts, including exhibits of air rescue history, but is nowadays also used as an exquisite venue for events like AirMed 2022.
Inside Hangar-7, it is the unique glass dome which inevitably draws the gaze upwards. It stretches like the vaults of heaven over the various exhibits. The transparency of the 1,754 glass panes – no two of which have the same dimensions – creates a different atmosphere in Hangar-7 depending on the weather or the time of day. The three self-supporting ribs that span the hall offer the visitor various vantage points: upwards towards the impressive mountain panorama or down towards the legendary airplanes, helicopters, Formula 1 cars and motorcycles. Seen from outside, the construction is intentionally reminiscent of a wing which radiates extraordinary dynamism and weightlessness. At the main entrance, visitors are greeted by two cylindrical towers, which rise majestically from the elliptical glass shell (source: https://www.hangar-7.com/en/).
After the last session of the first congress day, delegates with a ticket to Hangar-7 (not included in the entrance ticket) will be transported by bus to Hangar-7. Attendees have the possibility to explore the venue and use the opportunity to network with other colleagues.
The shuttle transfer times are:
- 17:45, start transfer from the venue to Hangar-7
- 22:30, first transfer from Hangar-7 to Salzburg center/Congree venue and then every 30 minutes
- 23:30, last transfer from Hangar-7 to Salzburg center/Congree venue
Dinner and drinks will be served at Hangar-7.

Congress dinner at Stiegl Keller, 29.06.2022
The restaurant Stiegl-Keller is in the hearth of the historic city of Salzburg, beneath the fortress Hohensalzburg. Before the event starts, every attendee with a ticekt including the social events, has the possibility to join a short city tour with local guides, which starts at Salzburg Congress and ends directly in front of the Stiegl-Keller. This is a great chance to learn more about the history of Salzburg and to see some historic sites.
The congress dinner starts with a short reception including snacks and drinks, in the garden area of Stiegl-Keller, providing an excellent view of the historic city of Salzburg. For the congress dinner itself, delegates can enjoy an assortment of typical Austrian food and beverage. During the evening, a band will entertain with music.
An apertif, dinner buffet and drinks will be served at the Stiegl-Keller.
