Salzburg enjoys excellent connections to international motorways, making the city easy to reach. Traveling to the City of Mozart from inside Austria take the A1 or A10 autobahn, or drive in from Germany on the A8. Please note that for Austrian motorways a toll-road sticker (so-called "vignette") is required. If you arrive via Germany / Freilassing and through the city of Salzburg, no Austrian vignette is required. More info
